Lee, a powerful hybrid of witch and vampire, was an enigma from the very start. Her mother, a witch of formidable power, had fled her coven to escape the burden of ancient prophecies. Her father, a vampire of noble blood, had turned his back on the eternal courts, seeking redemption in the mortal world. Together, they created Lee—a child destined to straddle the line between light and darkness.
Lee's early years were marked by contradictions. By day, she was a curious child with a fierce love for the humanity she observed in the bustling streets of Hell's Kitchen. By night, her darker instincts surfaced, leading her to question her place in the world. Her mother taught her the ancient spells of their lineage, while her father shared the grim realities of the vampire's eternal hunger.
But her life took a turn on her 16th birthday when her latent powers manifested. During a moment of intense emotion, she tore open a portal to the Void—a shadowy realm where balance and chaos vie for supremacy. In the Void, she encountered visions of the world unraveling, its harmony threatened by unseen forces. That night, she realized her existence was no accident. She was born to guard the balance between realms.
