Once a brilliant scientist specializing in bioengineering, Dr. Ryo Matsuda was an innovator who sought to weaponize nature to protect humanity. Obsessed with spiders and their unique biological properties, Ryo experimented with integrating spider DNA into humans to create super-soldiers.
However, during one of his experiments, an unstable prototype backfired, fusing the spider’s genetic traits with his own body. The transformation twisted his mind, driving him to see humanity as weak and undeserving of survival without evolving. He began using his newfound abilities to weave a global web of terror.
Now known as Kumo, he operates in the shadows, sowing chaos and forcing humanity into a deadly game of survival and adaptation. He is the ultimate predator, believing only the strong and cunning will survive his machinations.
